What a house removal with us looks like

Standard removals shouldn’t be stressful, but often are — because most firms book tight diaries, charge for changes, and vanish if the chain wobbles. We work differently.

Here’s what happens when you book a house removal with us:

Before moving day

A member of our team assesses the volume — either by video call or site visit for bigger jobs. We give you a written, fixed quote with no surprise line items. If you want packing, we include that in the quote. If you don’t, that’s fine too.

On the day

Our crew arrives on time, introduces themselves, and gets straight into it. Furniture is blanket-wrapped before it leaves the house. Boxes are loaded by room so they go back the same way. Fragile items are handled personally. If parking is tight we’ve usually arranged a suspension in advance.

At the new address

Boxes go to the room they’re labelled for. Furniture gets reassembled where it’s meant to live. Essentials — kettle, bed frames, TV — get set up first so you don’t have to dig through boxes on night one.

If you’re moving within a property chain with date uncertainty, you probably want our chain move storage service instead — same team, but we hold your belongings between properties until completion happens.

Every move is priced individually based on volume, distance, and access. As rough guidance:

Packing services add around 20-30% to a standard removal. Long-distance moves are quoted separately.
